Store Assistant OT American Hospital Dubai

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Store Assistant – OT, reporting to OR Supervisor to join their dynamic team. The role holder schedules, reconciles physical inventories, creates, and maintains daily, weekly and monthly reports that monitor inventory levels. He picks and arranges products according to daily procedures. Cross-verifies daily charges against the supplies.

Responsibilities of Store Assistant

• Receives materials from stores in accordance with daily sales and stock movements.
• Checks all delivered items’ barcodes and expiry dates.
• Monitors chargeable supplies on a daily basis and cross-verify with the procedure carts.
• Maintains report scheduling and distribution.
• Maintains data to facilitate good forecasting and reasonable inventory levels.
• Monitors inventory movement from Stores to OR and other sub stores.
• Monitors and reviews lost charges & sales reports.
• Generates sales reports on a daily basis.
• Notifies the supervisor if an excess quantity is charged or any loss charges from the list.
• Reviews expired items physically and reconcile.
• Coordinates expiry returns with store/supplier and confirms to get replacements or credit notes.
• Generates replenishment reports of chargeable and non-chargeables.
• Compiles physical inventory reports and reconciliation.
• Assists in the investigation of inventory discrepancies found during picking and replenishment, additionally cycle count planning, applying and investigating.
• Reviews systems reports and summarizes key financial information and information related to significant transactions.
• Performs data analysis for ongoing identification of process/metrics improvement opportunities.
• Plans and implements activities related to the product or material purchase, inventory control, and shipping/receiving and storage functions.
• Ensures products and materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.
• Collects, evaluates, and reports data in order to manage inventory.
• Analyzes inventory records.
• Collects dispatch records & trends and evaluates performance measured against inventory budgets.
• Monitors consignment items receiving, charging and replenishments.
• Monitors inventory returns and reconciliation.
• Performs other duties as assigned and is willing to work night shifts.

Qualification & Experience

Following are the requirements for the position of Store Assistant – OT at American Hospital Dubai:

• Highschool graduate.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a Hospital/Operating Room store experience.
• Operating Room Experience will be an added advantage.
