Responsibilities of Staff Nurse 3

• Sets up of infusions and blood transfusions.
• Acts as patient advocate by making ethical decisions related to consent and confidentiality.
• Communicates with and relieves the anxiety of patients and their relatives.
• Responds appropriately to emergencies.
• Identifies the activities of daily living, appropriately plans, implements, and evaluates physical and psychological care.
• Reports incident and complaints to Senior Nursing Personnel on duty.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates midwifery care that is evidence based, incorporates every woman’s unique needs, expectations, lifestyle and cultural background.
• Ensures that care within the facility is performed in accordance with established corporate and hospital policies and procedures and international standards.
• Ensures clinical resources and continuity of care during her hours of duties.
• Undertakes additional tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Staff Nurse 3 at Dubai Health Authority:

• BSC/ or equivalent in nursing or Midwifery.
• Eligible for DHA Licensing.
• Staff Nurse (Senior): Total of 5 years’ experience in acute care facility of more than 100 beds with minimum of 2 years’ experience in DHA.
• Midwife: Total 5 years’ experience as midwife in acute care facility of more than 100 beds.
