Responsibilities of Sr Specialist
- Participating in the analysis of the tendering process and identification of most suitable bidders.
- Negotiating critical contracts’ prices, credit terms, and other conditions of the agreement, including loan agreements.
- Monitoring project expenditures and taking actions to optimize costs through superior planning of available resources.
- Advising developers and/or contractor engineers on specific requirements of project delivery and monitoring adherence to the detailed project work plan.
- Ensuring that project milestones are met and highlighting deviations.
- Ensuring adherence of contractors to agreed-upon standards, terms, regulations, specifications, etc.
- Documenting and updating all contract administration activities (i.e., payments, change orders, claims administration, material change requests, etc.)
- Registering activities in the vendor management system to ensure proper contract audit and management.
- Monitoring projects’ daily work progress and preparing progress reports accordingly.
Requirements of Sr Specialist
- 5 – 8 Years of Relevant Experience in Project Finance in Renewable Energy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in financial management, contract negotiation, and project administration, preferably in the context of climate and sustainable finance.
Skills and Abilities Desired
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in climate and sustainable finance.
