Job Description

Dubai Health Authority is currently hiring for the role of Specialist Strategy & Governance Department Specialist Strategy & Governance Department. His role will be to develop, update and oversee the implementation of DHA’s corporate governance framework and Governance Manual, ensuring compliance with international standards, local and federal laws and best practices.

Your Job Tasks

  1. Develop and update governance KPIs and maturity assessment criteria based on international practices, monitor performance results and generate periodic reports.
  2. Conduct training sessions and workshops on governance awareness, committee management, and organizational structure, while developing tools to measure effectiveness, analyzing results, and reporting findings periodically.
  3. Prepare, review, update and ensure proper implementation of DHA organizational structure to achieve strategic objectives.
  4. Handle amendments requests related to the Organization structure or function descriptions (mandates) ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and operational requirements.
  5. Measuring the Organization Structure effectiveness/maturity and raising reports.
  6. Develop, update, and ensure the effective implementation of the Corporate Authority Manual and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to define roles, responsibilities & accountabilities.
  7. Develop, update and implement a system to govern and monitor committees and teams.
  8. Manage requests related to the formation, amendment, and cancellation of committees and teams, providing support in defining responsibilities and KPIs, and overseeing performance evaluation and reporting.
  9. Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring the resolution of all nonconformities and observations by implementing corrective actions.
  10. Participating in the implementation of any initiative related to governance and organization development according to department annual plan.
  11. Working on publishing papers/articles/research in the field of Governance and Organizational Development in reputable international journals.
  12. Update, enhance and improve the processes, forms and guidelines and manuals related to Governance and Organizational Development as needed.
  13. Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring the resolution of all nonconformities and observations by implementing corrective actions, providing necessary evidence, and fulfilling audit requirements.
  14. Any other tasks and responsibilities related to Governance and Organizational Development.

Qualification Needed

  1. Preferably Master’s degree in business administration and management, governance and organizational development or other related fields in healthcare.
  2. Minimum of 7 years professional experience in related fields               or
  3. Bachelor degree in business administration and management, governance and organizational development or other related fields in healthcare sector.
  4. Minimum of 10 years professional experience in related fields.
