Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company is seeking a Specialist Social Media Events & Sponsorship (Trainee) in Dubai. The trainee will assist in the development of sponsorship strategies to align with brand and product objectives. He / She will support the implementation of live communication initiatives and real-time engagement platforms.
Duties as Specialist Social Media Events
- Help coordinate commercial and corporate events such as sales roadshows and consumer events.
- Assist with post-event evaluation and compile reports on outcomes and metrics.
- Help monitor the effectiveness of initiatives, including the quality, reach, and acceptance of the messages communicated.
- Support the management and execution of event and sponsorship-related activities.
- Collaborate with the Manager to ensure alignment with marketing communications and business segments.
- Contribute to the management of relationships with partners and stakeholders involved in events and sponsorships.
- Assist in the management and coordination of live event coverage.
Education & Experience of Specialist Social Media Events
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Recent graduates, with internships or practical experience in events management or sponsorships considered an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills Desired
- Demonstrated ability to support projects, ideally with some experience in working within timelines and assisting with budget considerations.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of event management and sponsorships.
- Good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Confidence in communication and the capability to engage constructively with team members throughout the company.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Organizational skills with an understanding of project management principles.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to assist in analyzing data and contributing to reports linked to KPIs.
- Familiarity with UAE culture and protocols.
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to contribute to team objectives.
