Specialist Reproductive Medicine IVF Mediclinic Bourn Hall

Mediclinic Bourn Hall is seeking a Specialist in Reproductive Medicine (IVF) / Clinical Medical Director & Consultant in Dubai. The role holder will lead the clinical team, integrate and continuously improve clinical services, clinical standards and governance in the business unit to drive patient safety and quality. He / she will provide patient-centric and evidence-based consultant-level care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by the company and regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities of Specialist Reproductive Medicine

• Provide strong leadership to the clinical management team.
• Develop and implement the clinical strategy.
• Oversee all aspects of quality management.
• Support the financial and budgetary process to assist with efficient operational management.
• Maintain good clinical governance.
• Building sustainable and productive relationships to assist the general management and development of the hospital.
• Provide a comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• As a Clinician ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure excellence in medical practice is maintained by focusing on continuous professional development of self and others.
• Maintain integrity in professional services by executing clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner.

Role Requirements

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Specialist in Reproductive Medicine (IVF) / Clinical Medical Director & Consultant at Bourn Hall:

• Medical Degree with a speciality area from an accredited institution.
• Degree in Business will be an advantage.
• Certification and registration in Reproductive Medicine from a recognized by relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
• At least 3 years’ experience as a senior clinician leading a team.
• Relevant operational experience will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ post qualification experience at consultant/specialist level in Reproductive Medicine.

Knowledge & Skills

• Demonstrate an understanding of quality improvement processes and the ability to maintain quality/accreditation standards.
• Demonstrates an understanding and application of relevant legislation within the healthcare industry.
• Demonstrates an understanding of business drivers and how to apply financial controls within the clinical process.
• Demonstrates solid understanding of the multi-disciplinary clinical environment, systems and related processes to enable effective and comprehensive support.
• Demonstrates the ability to apply policies, procedures, requirements and regulations related to the management and administration of the clinical functions of the hospital.
