Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a qualified Specialist Radiologist to join their talented team in Abu Dhabi. Duties of Specialist Radiologist

• Examines internal structures and functions of organ systems, making diagnoses after correlation of x-ray findings with other examinations and tests.
• Treats benign and malignant internal and external growths by exposure to radiation from x-rays, high energy sources, and natural and synthetic radioisotopes directed at or implanted in affected areas of body.
• Administers radiopaque substances by injection, orally, or as enemas to render internal structures and organs visible on x-ray films or fluoroscopic screens.
• Specializes in diagnostic radiology or radiation oncology.
• Diagnoses and treat diseases of human body, using radioactive substances.
• Motivating staff to perform to their optimum efficiency.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to develop/enhance their skills.

Qualification & Experience

Following are the requirements for the post of Specialist Radiologist at SRH:

• MBBS or MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution and completion of specialty (Radiology) qualification as per the recognized specialty certificate in DOH PQR.
• Three (3) year of experience after obtaining sub-specialty qualification
• DOH license or eligibility as Radiologist.

Knowledge & Skills of Radiologist

• Knowledge of medical ethics.
• Confident and Compassionate. Personality.
• Excellent command of oral and written English.
• Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knows his / her obligation to maintain the confidentiality of work.
