Specialist Projects Estimation at ADNOC is required to support Proposals team in providing cost estimation for various activities of projects & ensure accuracy of estimation. Monitor and improve estimating performance through incorporation of actual cost feedback into future estimate by reviewing key aspects of project contracts or contractor proposals. Duties Of Specialist Projects Estimation

• Provide support in tendering phase and in execution phase of projects.
• Maintain a database of all cost estimates and regularly update the database for cost estimates as required.
• Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
• Identify design and constructability issues and analysis to determine constructability.
• Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
• Act as a connection between subcontractors, technical team, and client.
• Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.
• Determine required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.)
• Collaborate with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate.
• Perform assessment on subcontractor proposals to ascertain if scope is covered and also manage the risk of scope gaps.
• Proffer suggestions to the team leader for contemplated expenditures.
• Monitor and improve project cost estimation and financial control by actively incorporating the actual cost feedback into future estimate of project costs.
• Identify any additional information needs for developing accurate estimates, as well as identifying any technical issues related to project implementation.
• Review key aspect of costing and project governance of project contracts or contractor proposals.
• Provide Support to other internal estimating engineers and project support in developing cost estimates and project cost review.
• Identify appropriate methods of estimation in relation with the scope of work.
• Participate in the set-up of the execution plan and various economic studies e.g. vessel selection, installation scenarios, fabrication strategy, and optimization of assets.
• Analyse the risks, uncertainties, opportunities and provide the most economical solutions taking account of contractual obligations.
• Present the price sheet and the basis of estimates to the management supported by benchmarks, project inputs, and methods.
• Support the proposal team to clarify any price submission / the project team to any estimating process clarification/presentation with clients or partners.

Eligibility Requirements For Specialist Projects Estimation

The eligibility requirements for the role of Specialist Projects Estimation are as under:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Offshore Projects related to the Oil & Gas industry.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• In-depth knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas estimation, offshore projects and core marine processes, in addition to relevant regulations with sound knowledge in Oil & Gas.
