Specialist Physician Trauma SSMC Abu Dhabi

SSMC is looking for a compassionate Specialist Physician (Trauma) in Ghweifat International Highway Next to Mafraq Hospital, Al Mafraq area, Abu Dhabi, UAE to provide primary care for patients suffering from injuries and common illnesses. Candidates’ responsibilities include diagnosing and treating injuries, illnesses & disorders, prescribing medications, making recommendations on lifestyle changes & answering patients’ questions. Candidate may work in one or more areas of specialization, such as anesthesiology, family and general medicine, internal medicine & pediatrics. To be a successful physician, job holder should be kind and compassionate towards patients, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate should be knowledgeable, detail oriented & have good problem solving skills. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-40000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Examining patients, taking medical histories, addressing patients’ concerns, and answering patients’ questions.
• Diagnosing and treating injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining the results to patients.
• Counseling patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and other lifestyle changes.
• Updating patients’ charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments.
• Recommending and designing treatment plans.
• Prescribing medications or therapies.
• Explaining medical procedures to patients.
• Consulting with other physicians, referring patients to specialists when necessary, and working with other healthcare staff, such as nurses, assistants, and other physicians.
• Complying with medical laws (for example, HIPAA).

Requirements for Role of Specialist Physician

• Qualifications from Tier 1 OR
• Qualifications from Tier 2 OR
• Qualifications from Tier 3.
• Current national license or equivalent.
• Tier 1: No additional experience is required post board certification.
• Tier 2: NLT 2 years of clinical experience post qualification in an internationally accredited institute.
• Tier 3: 3 years experience post qualification.
• No additional experience required post board certification
• No experience required post board certification.
• Tier 3: NLT 3 years clinical experience as Specialist post qualification in an internationally accredited institute
