Specialist MBRU

Responsibilities of Specialist

• Data Analysis: Support in conducting statistical analysis and interpreting research findings to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to student enrollment, retention, graduation rates, faculty productivity, and other institutional metrics. Present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Reporting: Support in the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing research findings for university administrators, faculty, and staff. Develop standardized templates and dashboards to streamline reporting processes.
• Support in data automation and data analysis projects while working with Microsoft 360 suite and other automation tools.
• Institutional Surveys: Support in coordinating the administration of surveys to collect data on student satisfaction, faculty evaluations, alumni outcomes, and other institutional assessments. Analyze survey results and provide recommendations for improvement based on findings.
• Data Management and Documentation: Maintain and update databases and data repositories to ensure accurate and secure storage of institutional research data. Develop protocols and procedures for data access, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Supporting External Audits and Accreditation Visits: Assist in preparing for and supporting external audits and accreditation visits conducted by accrediting bodies or government agencies. Collaborate with relevant departments to gather and organize data and documentation required for the audit or visit. Contribute to the development of self study reports and other documentation required for accreditation renewals or evaluations.
• Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with cross functional teams and departments within the university to facilitate data sharing, collaboration, and coordination of SIE functions.

Job Requirements of Specialist

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Desired: Power Bi , Power apps, SQL, Blue software experience.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Advanced excel skills, good statistical analysis knowledge.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (essential).
• Knowledge of Arabic (desirable).
