Job Description
The Senior Specialist Inventory Performance will be responsible for the end-to-end analysis and reporting on sales and inventory performance to help drive top-line growth by providing insights from data related to inventory, sales, and other key metrics and building dashboards and reports that will support decision making.
Responsibilities of Specialist Inventory Performance
- Build, develop, and maintain in-depth reporting systems, dashboards, and visualizations that support key business decisions while keeping the end user-experience in mind.
- Analyze and show progress on how vendor inventory is performing with its impact on business supported with visualizations.
- Draw insights and trends from data to help drive business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Examine, interpret and communicate the results of analytical initiatives and insights to relevant stakeholders and management.
- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet the needs.
- Align with various stakeholders to manage and streamline the E2E process on inventory reporting and performance management.
- In-depth regular report by creating automated reports and alerts to ensure that stakeholders have access to the information they need in a timely and efficient manner.
- Performing ad-hoc analysis to help stakeholders answer specific business questions.
- Continuously improve the quality, accuracy, and relevance of Talabat’s dashboards and reports by monitoring usage and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for the role of a Senior Specialist Inventory Performance are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce or food delivery industry.
Skills Desired
- Knowledge of SQL, data interpretation, and building in-depth reports on Tableau and Looker.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.
- You are able to move quickly from long-term thinking to immediate action.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and insights from complex data sets.
- Passion for food and technology, with a desire to innovate and drive growth in a fast-paced environment.
- You work in full autonomy and also collaborate with stakeholders.
