Specialist Dermatology NMC Royal Medical Center Abu Dhabi

NMC Healthcare is seeking a qualified Specialist Dermatology to join their team at NMC Royal Medical Centre, Shahama, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-45000 AED/month.

Duties as Specialist Dermatology

• Conducting screenings and skin evaluations to analyze the patient’s medical history.
• Consultation services to patients in the Dermatology outpatient Clinic evaluating patients with skin diseases.
• Provides consultation service to the inpatient services and has admission privileges to admit patients with skin diseases requiring inpatient care.
• Provides consultation service to inpatients in dermatology.
• Admits to the hospital, patients with skin diseases requiring inpatient services and assume their care.
• Provides on-call emergency coverage for dermatologic emergencies.
• Performs the dermatologic procedures e.g. PUVA therapy, skin biopsy, cryosurgery, electrocautery, chemical peeling, curettage, Laser, PRP, excision etc.
• Plans and maintains daily work schedules necessary for required performance of all Department functions, including leaves of absence, vacations, holiday and weekend schedules, and emergency on-call schedules after working hours.
• Participates in the monthly hospital meetings.
• Participates in Committees as needed.

Eligibility Criteria

Following are the requirements for the role of Specialist Dermatology at NMC Royal Medical Center:

• Graduation from an approved medical school plus 1-year internship.
• 3 years Residency Training in Medical Dermatology culminating in procuring a Post-Graduate Master’s degree and/or equivalent Fellowships approved by HAAD.
• Three or more year’s exclusive practice of Dermatology & Aesthetics since certification.
• Must have HAAD License to practice.
• Strong Logbook and additional qualifications to reflect Aesthetic & Cosmetic practice and experience over the last 3-5 years.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical ethics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
