Aster DM Healthcare is currently accepting applications for the post of Specialist Dermatology & Cosmetology in UAE. The selected applicant will join the Aster team at Medcare Medical Center in Dubai. The role person will diagnose and treat skin conditions of patients irrespective of age, gender and ethnicity. He / she will provide consultation and quality care in accordance with hospital’s regulatory guidelines.

Duties of Specialist Dermatology & Cosmetology

• Provide consultation services to patients with skin conditions in the OPD.
• Admit patients with skin diseases that require inpatient care.
• Provide on-call emergency coverage for dermatologic emergencies.
• Perform the dermatologic procedures e.g. skin biopsy, PUVA therapy, skin biopsy, electrocautery, cryosurgery, electrocautery, excision, curettage, chemical peeling etc.
• Perform cosmetic procedures.
• Participate in department and hospital meetings.
• Comply with all infection control policies and practices.

Education & Experience

• Degree of medicine from an approved medical school.
• Specialization in dermatology.
• Master’s/ Diploma in Cosmetology.
