Canadian Specialist Hospital is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Dermatology to join their Professional team in Dubai. The hospital announced this position opening on December 15, 2023 and is now accepting applications from interested candidates. This role person will diagnose and treat skin conditions of patients irrespective of age, gender and ethnicity.

Duties as Specialist Dermatology

• Provide consultation and quality care in accordance with hospital’s regulatory guidelines.
• Provide consultation services to patients with skin conditions in the OPD.
• Admit patients with skin diseases that require inpatient care.
• Provide on-call emergency coverage for dermatologic emergencies.
• Perform the dermatologic procedures e.g. skin biopsy, PUVA therapy, skin biopsy, electrocautery, cryosurgery, electrocautery, excision, curettage, chemical peeling etc.
• Participate in department and hospital meetings.
• Comply with all infection control policies and practices.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience for the role of Specialist Dermatology:

• Graduation from an approved medical school.
• One year of internship and three years of residency.
• Certification by the American Board of Dermatologist or Member of the Royal College of Dermatology (or its equivalent).
• At least 8+ years of practice as a Dermatologist with 5+ years or more years as a licensed specialist.

• Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
