Spa Therapist
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of treatments including massages, facials, scrubs, and other body therapies
- Ensure visitor comfort by tailoring each service based on their wants and concerns
- Maintain a serene, clean, and professional spa atmosphere at all times
- Follow all hygiene and safety measures thoroughly
- Offer product recommendations to help guests with at-home care
- Keep precise records of visitor requests, feedback, and treatment details
- Support daily spa operations, including helping with guest scheduling
- Handle guest questions with patience and professionalism
- Keep up with industry standards and new wellness techniques
Requirements and Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Recognized spa therapy certification or diploma
- Any additional training in massage, skin care, or wellness is a plus
Experience
- 2–5 years of spa experience, preferably in a hotel or luxury resort setting
- Experience with both Eastern and Western treatment styles is an advantage
Skills
- Good spoken English; Arabic or other languages are a bonus
- Calm, friendly, and approachable manner
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Confidence in recommending spa products and services
- High attention to cleanliness and detail
Physical Fitness
Ability to stand for long periods and perform multiple treatments in a day
