Community Development Authority Dubai is actively recruiting social & well reputed candidate for job role of a Social Supervisor. The selected candidate will work at Juvenile Center and supervise social care & rehabilitation programs/ activities of juveniles. This job role is primarily for UAE nationals only. Purpose of A Social Supervisor

• Supervise social care and rehabilitation work for juveniles placed in juvenile center.
• Fulfilling the juveniles needs and leading the care and rehabilitation programs in such a way that it ends in their readaptation to social environment and reintegration into society.

Job Duties of A Social Supervisor

• Receive the juveniles placed in center and complete all formalities required for their stay at center.
• Distribute the juveniles to the rooms and places designated for them at the center.
• Supervise health staff regarding provision of primary health care to juveniles.
• Supervise the safety and care plans of juveniles.
• Ensure provision of proper nutrition/diet to juveniles according to health requirements or need.
• Implement proper care and rehab plans for juveniles in coordination with psychologists and rehabilitation specialists.
• Monitor the general behavior of juveniles by actively participating with them in activities and through individual interviews.
• Measure juvenile behavior according to  behavior evaluation model and submit periodic reports to relevant specialists.
• Monitor periodic needs of juveniles and submit report to rehabilitation specialists to adopt necessary measures/programs to address those needs.
• Implement the recommendations of the psychologist and rehabilitation specialist regarding measures required to be taken against juveniles placed in detention.
• Protect juveniles by implementing security and safety standards.
• Resolve problems and disputes (if any) between juveniles with the help of Dubai Police representatives inside the center.
• Attend recreational activities along with juveniles that contribute to rehab programs such as sports events.
• Ensure allocation of finances or funds to juveniles for their daily expenses from the juvenile secretariat.
• Adhere to information security policies and ensure confidentiality of information.
• Any other tasks within the scope of job responsibilities.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in social service or psychology or diploma in similar fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in same role.
• Good in English, Arabic and Urdu language. Additional language if any is a plus.
