Marina Home Interiors is looking for a creative Social Marketing Lead who will be responsible for innovative & engaging storytelling to bring brand and products to life on social. Candidate will create and administer content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram etc. to increase brand awareness and enhance customer engagement. Also will also support, drive and implement social media strategy by adopting industry best practices. Job holder will hold brand custodianship in the social space, be the voice of the brand, hold conversations with the customer, drive community engagement, social audience growth and brand loyalty. As the sole key social media point, job holder will ensure that social approach is aligned with overall marketing and business objective.

Responsibilities of Social Media Marketing Lead

  • Develop engaging, creative, innovative content (story-telling through Instagram effects, Snapchat filters, optimized stories)
  • Social campaign management planning, scheduling, monitoring, optimizing and reporting paid social campaigns.
  • Identify, monitor and engage with what’s trending.
  • Audit and analyze social media presence, track digital performance including digital advertising costs and returns.
  • Community Management: Publish, monitor and engage with the community, plus take findings and apply them to our next post or activation.
  • Support proactive and reactive daily monitoring and engagement on social queries.
  • Content Planning: Create, curate, plan and schedule rich-media channel-specific content.
  • Social customer service: Build processes and ensure a seamless experience for our fans via social channels.
  • Influencer marketing and management.
  • Create and update weekly and monthly reports, analyze campaigns and product launches.
  • Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages.

Requirements for Role of Social Media Marketing Lead

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of full-time experience in social media marketing in the Retail Sector.
  • Prior experience with amazing storytelling, content creation and copywriting skills.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Knowledge of social tools.
  • Must be bilingual with an advanced level of English and Arabic language skills.
  • A proven track record in social media including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.
  • Understanding of user behaviour and demographics per unique social media platform.
  • An eye for spotting social media trends and moments.
  • Ability to think fast with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
