Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company is seeking a dedicated Social Media Events & Sponsorship Specialist (Trainee) at du’s Headquarters in UAE.
Duties of Social Media Events & Sponsorship Specialist
- Assist in the development of sponsorship strategies to align with brand and product objectives.
- Support the implementation of live communication initiatives and real-time engagement platforms.
- Help coordinate commercial and corporate events such as sales roadshows and consumer events.
- Assist with post-event evaluation and compile reports on outcomes and metrics.
- Help monitor the effectiveness of initiatives, including the quality, reach, and acceptance of the messages communicated.
- Support the management and execution of event and sponsorship-related activities.
- Collaborate with the Manager to ensure alignment with marketing communications and business segments.
- Contribute to the management of relationships with partners and stakeholders involved in events and sponsorships.
- Assist in the management and coordination of live event coverage.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Entry-level position suitable for recent graduates, with internships or practical experience in events management or sponsorships considered an advantage.
- Some understanding of the communication processes relevant to events and sponsorships, preferably with exposure to the UAE market or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support projects, ideally with some experience in working within timelines and assisting with budget considerations.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of event management and sponsorships.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Good negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to support management and contribute to discussions effectively.
- Confidence in communication and the capability to engage constructively with team members throughout the company.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English, with an emphasis on clear and concise verbal and written communication.
- Organizational skills with an understanding of project management principles; certification in project management is a plus.

- Competent in communicating with different levels of the organization as well as with external and internal partners and stakeholders.
