EDGE Group is actively hiring qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of a SOC Analyst. The selected candidate will Identify, analyze and react to cybersecurity threats using a reliable set of processes and technology solutions.

Responsibilities of SOC Analyst

• Participate security access and report suspicious activity to a higher level or team members.
• Reviews the most recent SIEM alerts to see their relevance and urgency.
• Carries out triage to ensure that a genuine security incident is occurring.
• Oversees and configures security monitoring tools.
• Conduct security assessments regularly to identify vulnerabilities and performing risk analysis.
• Analyze the breach to reach the root cause.
• Generate reports for IT administrators, business managers, and security leaders.
• These reports serve as an input to evaluate the efficacy of the security policies.
• Carry out necessary changes required to counter the attack or improvise security standards.
• Keep the security systems up to date and contributing to security strategies.
• Assist in documenting incidents to contribute to incident response and disaster recovery plans.
• Create Training plan and provide detailed training on different cyber security topics to be reviewed by higher level.
• Work with the Information Security Team to improve the security by configuring and administering security systems and tools.
• Perform internal and external security audits.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for in role of SOC Analyst are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 
• 3+ years of professional experience as a technical subject matter expert.
