Reem Hospital is presently looking for a dedicated and experienced Sleep Technologist to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role person will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. The company is looking for a candidate with a background as a Registered Nurse and specific certifications in sleep technology.

Key Responsibilities of Sleep Technologist

• Perform and analyze polysomnographic recordings to assess sleep patterns and diagnose sleep disorders.
• Set up and monitor patients during sleep studies, ensuring the collection of accurate and high-quality data.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate treatment plans for patients with sleep disorders.
• Educate patients on sleep hygiene and assist in the use of sleep-related devices.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and guidelines for sleep studies.

Role Requirements

Following are the requirements for the role of Sleep Technologist at Reem Hospital:

• Academic qualification as a Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist.
• ONE of the following certifications: Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) OR  American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM).
• Sleep Disorders Specialty Examination by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience post-qualification in a related.
