Job Description
Site Manager at Albatha Group oversees on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. This role involves managing personnel, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-25000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Site Manager
- Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Develop and implement site-specific work schedules and timelines to meet project milestones.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor site progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Lead and manage site personnel, including foremen, laborers, and subcontractors.
- Assign tasks and ensure team members understand their responsibilities and deliverables.
- Monitor the performance and productivity of on-site staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues or defects.
- Maintain accurate and detailed site records, including inspection reports and daily logs.
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to educate the workforce on site safety.
- Investigate any on-site accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor project costs and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review and approve purchase orders and invoices for on-site expenses.
- Minimize waste and control project costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for on-site stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Address and resolve any concerns or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Provide timely updates to project management and participate in progress meetings.
- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Resolve technical, logistical, or personnel issues that may arise during construction.
- Ensure that any deviations from plans are documented and approved by relevant stakeholders.
- Perform any other related tasks required by the direct manager.
Requirements for Role of Site Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is a MUST.
- DEWA Approval is a MUST.
- Minimum 5 years of site management experience and overall minimum 12 years of experience in substations.
