Job Description

Abbott Diabetes Care business is looking for a SFE and In Field Training Manager to be based in UAE. As SFE and In Field Training Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing company’s sales operations, strategies, and processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the overall performance and productivity of sales force, ultimately driving revenue growth and market success.

Responsibilities of SFE and In Field Training Manager

  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and evaluate the entire sales process, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to streamline and optimize the sales process, improving lead-to-close ratios and reducing sales cycle times.
  • Salesforce Effectiveness: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the performance and productivity of the Salesforce team. Provide guidance on sales techniques, territory management, and account targeting. Implement tools and processes to improve data accuracy, reporting, and performance measurement.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and report on sales team performance, sales funnels, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track progress and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Tools and Technology: Evaluate, implement, and manage sales-related technology and tools (e.g., CRM systems, sales enablement platforms) to enhance productivity and efficiency. Provide training and support to the sales team for the effective use of these tools.

Other Duties as SFE and In Field Training Manager

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis and gather customer insights to inform sales strategies and customer service enhancements. Utilize data and market intelligence to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive opportunities. Translate market insights into actionable strategies and tactics.
  • Sales Training and Development: Work with the sales training team to design and deliver training programs that equip sales representatives with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Metrics and Incentives: Collaborate with the HR department to design and implement performance metrics and incentive programs to motivate and reward high-performing sales teams.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices to ensure the sales force is well-prepared to address market changes.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Salesforce effectiveness, field training, and customer service. Implement reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into sales performance, training outcomes, and customer satisfaction. Regularly analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of SFE and In Field Training Manager at Abbott Laboratories:

  • Educated to degree level, with scientific degree, a BS/BA in business-related discipline, MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales force effectiveness, sales operations, or related fields.
  • Experience in designing and implementing sales training programs is beneficial.

  • Training and Coaching Skills: Strong facilitation and coaching skills to effectively deliver training sessions and support the development of the Salesforce team.

  • An established track record of creativity, innovation.
  • Has a proven drive for results, is highly tenacious and persistent in the face of obstacles to ensure strategic are implemented over the long term effectively.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of a second language desirable.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales technology.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
