Responsibilities of Service Delivery Manager
- Oversee all aspects of service delivery operations, including roster management, scheduling, incident handling, and critical incident response procedures.
- Manage vendor relationships, define SLAs, and monitor and report on the performance of the service delivery team, ensuring continuous improvement and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to streamline processes, automate tasks, and enhance knowledge retention within the team.
- Foster effective communication across the organisation, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with IT peers to build service delivery capabilities.
Requirements of Service Delivery Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preffered: ITIL v4 is preferred.
- Minimum: 7-10 years of pure service delivery experience.
- Experience in network engineering, service-oriented environments, and large multinational corporations is highly desirable.
- Experience with transformation initiatives and emerging technologies is a plus.
- Experience of working in a diversified business and based in the UAE.
Skills & Abilities Desired
- Strong understanding of IT service delivery, service management, IT operations, and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills are essential.
