Job Description
L’Occitane Group (flagship brand of Chalhoub Group) is actively seeking experienced, creative and responsible individual to take on the role of Senior Travel Retail Marketing Executive. The selected candidate will be accountable for supporting the strategic plan to grow Axe and TR sets categories across TR Middle East (Europe and Americas). Also, will work in close collaboration with Demand Planning, Sales Team, NPD team & Global TR Marketing team. The portfolio of brands include L’Occitane en Provence, Elemis, Sol de Janeiro & Erborian. This job was published by Sarah Kettlewell Talent Attraction Manager.
Duties of Senior Travel Retail Marketing Executive
Lead Regional Trade Marketing
- Full accountability in the development, planning and execution of the Trade marketing strategy in line with Brand guidelines and Go-To-Market strategy in TR.
- Responsible for the animations and events execution: planning, liaising and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for successful execution.
- Propose creative and engaging customer experience adapted to market needs. Driving omnichannel activation and maximizing online/offline synergy.
- Optimize all marketing resources available and adapt them to regional needs to maximize promotional plan efficiency. Prepare tools for retailer presentations.
- Build the annual Gifting plan – GWP, Sampling considering local needs and ensuring promo check.
- Ensure excellent POS execution in close collaboration with the Commercial and Retail team (VM, POSM).
Manage Marketing Events Including 360°
- Drive the implementation of Outpost & HPP, PR events adapted to Regions/Operators to ensure maximum consumers engagement and conversion.
- Lead the regional marketing event pack and prepare the key assets, integrating all the launch information for the field team across digital, social media and instore activations to merchandising.
- Lead the briefs for the Concept & VM team to maximize brand image, customer centricity and SO Sales.
- Maximize the seasonal initiatives: planning, coordination with Sales team.
- Implement post events analysis and keep a close eye on the competition to provide the global team a regular updates.
Forecast Management & Budget
- Responsible for the forecasting of trade touchpoints: gift with purchase and sampling, art of gifting, animation tools and seasonal initiatives.
- Support the Brand manager in the global budget planning and business review presentations.
- Manage the regional marketing budget to ensure key launches and initiatives are adequately supported, maximizing ROI.
- Analyze animation reports and sellout performances to create insights that will help drive Trade marketing plan and Category strategy.
Others Tasks of Senior Travel Retail Marketing Executive
- Gather consumer insights and shop performance and apply this knowledge into marketing decision-making.
- Foster cooperation with regional domestic markets in order to accelerate the brand building exercise in the region and maximize omni-channel synergies.
Requirements for Role of Senior Travel Retail Marketing Executive
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, tourism, or a related field.
- Experience in 360 marketing within Travel retail, minimum 3 years.
- Middle East/GCC experience.
- Good relationships with airports.
