Duties of A Senior Transportation Modeler/Planner

• Prepare traffic impact studies for small and large developments including data collection and analysis, and develop and analyze mitigation measures.
• Carry out urban/metropolitan transportation planning and traffic engineering tasks including corridor studies and regional network studies.
• Perform operational analysis using standard packages including SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, and VISSIM.
• Collaborate with road design and urban planning teams.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Senior Transportation Modeler/Planner are as under:

• Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related discipline.
• Master’s Degree is desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in transportation planning including conduct of transportation impacts studies and transportation master plans.
• Experienced in the use of operational and/or travel demand modeling analysis tools.
• Experience in public transportation and non-motorized transportation desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
