Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL)
Senior Translator at GAL will convert written material from English to Arabic and vice versa and manage the translation process, ensuring that the translated version is as clear and accurate as the source language text. Job holder will be responsibilities include researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation, proof reading and editing final translated versions. Also review of translation and quality assurance of final edits.
Responsibilities of Senior Translator
- Delivery and management of translation services to support business or training requirements including:
- Provide translation services including contract preparation, amendment, summaries, memorandums and singing forms either electronically or as hard copy.
- Translates and edits professionally high security materials from English into Arabic and vice versa
- Provides organization’s clients with a grammatical, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document, proofreads.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed by senior management team.
Requirements for Role of Senior Translator
- Bachelor’s degree in English from an accredited University or equivalent.
- Formal English Language Certification.
- 5-7 years of experience in translation services Arabic to English and English to Arabic.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Former Service as in Home Nation government.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs.
