As a Senior Software Developer (SFCC) at Chalhoub Group in Unit GS, 075, Financial Center Rd, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, UAE, candidate will be responsible for all aspects of software architecture and development, from high level to low level design, testing and documentation. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Software Developer

• Development of e-commerce solutions: As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, candidate will be responsible for the development of e-commerce solutions. And ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, usability, performance, scalability and security.
• Design and Develop Microservices and APIs: Will be involved in the design and development of microservices & APIs to support the backend of our e-commerce solutions.
• Responsible for diagnosing and solving technical issues related to e-commerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementation.
• Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, marketing, engineering, IT. And operations, to develop and implement enhancements for Salesforce products. Also provide training and support to internal teams.
• Drive Adoption and Integration of Salesforce Commerce Cloud: Drive and manage the ongoing development of the Commerce Cloud tool. And web properties and support adoption and integration into related areas of the organization. Also be responsible for writing technical documentation (TSD and FSD) and leveraging your past experience to independently solve new problems and collaborate with others.

Requirements for Role of Senior Software Developer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• 2+ years experience in senior Full-Stack or Senior Backend-End development on SFCC/Demandware.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) SFRA, Services framework, and platform capabilities
• Extensive experience in building responsive, scalable e-commerce websites
• Cache strategy, CDN, front-end/back-end performance tuning, 3rd party integration, and Service integration experience.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Knowledge of Pipelines, JS Controllers, Demandware Script, and ISML Templates
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, and other JS frameworks
• Deep understanding of SFCC concepts like Catalog, Products, Campaigns, Promotions, Customer Groups, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud Cartridge or File Structure
• Proficient in using Demandware Script APIs for manipulating data, implementing business rules, customizing storefront behavior and interacting with SFCC platform services and functionalities
• Proficiency in SFCC data management, including defining and modeling data structures, creating custom objects, and managing data relationships
• Ability to diagnose and debug issues in SFCC applications using debugging tools, browser developer tools, and log analysis
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for effectively working with cross-functional teams and adapting to changing requirements and priorities
• Leadership qualities, including mentorship, coaching, and guiding junior developers, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
• Good understanding of RESTful API development and JSON
• Awareness of Dev Ops including Continuous Integration, Delivery, Agile Configuration Management, Environment Management, and Release Management practices.
