Senior Project Manager Finance Transformation at HSBC UAE possess a thorough understanding Regulatory Reporting as well as change and transformation experience. The jobholder will need to work independently with minimal supervision in ensuring that all project and reporting requirements are completed within the required timelines. Direct engagement with local key stakeholders (Regional CFO/CRO, business, ALCM, Analytics, Risk etc.).

Responsibilities of Senior Project Manager Finance Transformation

• Extend support to Finance Regulatory Reporting to deliver reporting solution for DFSA reporting. This includes maintaining end to end project plan, analyzing data requirements and data sources, build, test and implement data, calculation and reporting solution.
• This includes support to BAU team covering Prudential Regulatory reporting including RWA reporting, delivering regulatory changes (project based team covering enhancements), and leading the engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Drive process reengineering to meet DFSA regulatory reporting
• Drive project implementation plan.
• Analyze and define data requirements and data sources as per the regulatory requirements.
• Deliver data, calculation and reporting solution as per the regulatory requirements.
• Produce data, calculation and reporting test scripts and review testing outcomes.
• Support to produce, review and submit regulatory reporting for PRA, DFSA and UAE CB, both regular and ad hoc request.
• Support to meet new regulatory reporting and implement system changes.
• Develop relationships with various internal stakeholders, to ensure understanding of the objectives and scope of the programme, and commitment to deliver.
• Work with key stakeholders, and Regulatory Reporting team to secure delivery with support from those channels.
• Support of overall programme plan and work with key contributors to agree their contribution.
• Provide support to resolve design and delivery issues.
• Work within existing Change Delivery governance, supplemented by programme specific governance as required.
• Drive delivery of programme plans, provide regular status reporting to senior management and senior steering committees.

Requirements of Senior Project Manager Finance Transformation

• Bachelors degree is a must to obtain UAE visa.
• 4 years of experienced with project management transformation program.
• Experience of effectively working with regulators.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Accountancy background or qualification is beneficial.
• Subject matter expertise in Regulatory reporting with thorough understanding of Basel rules, CRDIV, CRR and other rules published by various regulators.
• Strong understanding of the Regulatory Reporting processes.
• A proven ability to lead and deliver change.
• Excellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Programme).
• A growth mind set focused on delivering effective and efficient solutions for the good of the Bank.
• Ability to form effective relationships and influence at the most senior level in the organization.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management and change to a wide range of stakeholders.
