The role of Senior Project Engineer at Crescent Petroleum is to support and participate in the planning and management of various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed meeting agreed standards and objectives. 

Duties Of Senior Project Engineer

• Manage and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction activities & deliverables for all sub-projects to ensure inter alignment and meet overall project objectives.
• Define sub-project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Review and closely monitor project schedule and costs.
• Ensure project execution within time, budget and QHSES requirements by allocating resources, managing risks/opportunities and changes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement/Sourcing/Supply Chain and Operations towards compliant and timely execution of projects.
• Coordinate Operations and Maintenance inputs into project phases.
• Create and maintain a multi-disciplinary projects interface register to ensure alignment of all technical interfaces between projects.
• Proactively advises engineering manager and other stakeholders of discrepancies and facilitates solutions.
• Verify that engineering tasks are strictly carried out in compliance with the contract requirements, and in particular with the company’s safety procedures, recognised engineering practices, project specifications and standards.
• Manage and monitor vendors and contractors work to ensure adherence to contractual scopes of work.
• Assist contractor teams to produce engineering/construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budgets.
• Review and provide input to contractor technical queries, concession and variation requests.
• Provide specification interpretation and technical guidance for various projects to Senior Engineers and/or Project Managers.
• Ensure timely internal and external reporting.
• Ensure project close out (technical and commercial) with appropriate feedback.

Requirements For Senior Project Engineer

The eligibility requirements for the role of Senior Project Engineer are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Project Management qualifications such as PMP or equivalent preferred but not mandatory).
• 10 years’ of experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably with an EPC Contractor.
• At least 3 years of Project Engineering experience.
