The Senior Program Manager at Abu Dhabi Prots will manage and lead multidisciplinary 3rd party project delivery team on large scale project(s) for the International Programme.
Duties of Program Manager
- Consolidation and reporting of the portfolio’s cost performance.
- Oversight of compliance of programme and project cost reporting.
- Setting of cost related cost process, procedures, and policies.
- Creation and maintenance of costing, inflation and contingency databases, index, and guidelines.
- Ensure that costs and cash flows are monitored and reported timely and accurately.
- Trigger cost specific investigations to interrogate inaccurate cost profiles, cash flows, and cost estimates.
- Monitoring and analyzing cost related KPIs and measures across the portfolio.
- Design and implement an integrated reporting suite that captures and presents progress against the portfolio, its projects plans and forecasts.
- Capture data from authorized sources and populate the reporting suite to provide robust management information internally and externally as required.
- Undertake data integrity reviews to identify actions that enhance the integrity of source data.
- Develop and manage the BCR process across the portfolio.
- Facilitate the setting of annual objectives, measures and targets and report periodically.
- Consolidation and reporting of the portfolio’s schedule performance.
- Oversight of compliance of programme and project schedule reporting.
- Setting of schedule related cost process, procedures, and policies.
- Creation and maintenance of schedule activity durations, interdependencies and float contingency databases and guidelines.
- Ensure that progress and EV forecasts are monitored and reported timely and accurately.
- Trigger schedule specific investigations to interrogate inaccurate schedule reports, EV forecasts, and delay events.
- Monitoring and analyzing schedule related KPIs and measures across the portfolio.
- Oversight of both programme and project(s) performance.
What You’ll Do More?
- Compliance of cost planning and cost reporting with Group governance.
- Approval of baseline scheduling and progress monitoring.
- Compliance and reporting of cost forecasting, cashflow and EV planning.
- Monitoring of quantity tracking and progress activity lookaheads.
- Change control and variation estimating and obtaining all approvals in accordance with the DOA.
- Approval of all payment certifications.
- Approval of EOT and claim analysis.
- Monitor and control project and programme risks.
- Manage risk treatments.
- Identifying key lessons learned throughout the programme and recommending the update of key documents across the entire portfolio.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role of a Program Manager are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (engineering, construction management, project management, etc.)
- Master’s degree in relevant field (engineering, construction management, project management, etc.) is advantageous.
- Professional Certifications such as PMP are advantageous.
- Minimum 15 years in the field of project and programme controls of large-scale complex CAPEX programmes.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior programme controls role for a portfolio of projects.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Fluency in English language.
- Arabic, French, Portuguese as a secondary language is preferred.
- Planning of multi project programme in complex environments and stakeholders.
- Management of large, multi-disciplined project controls teams.
- Direct interaction with various boards and senior management on a regular basis.
- Preferably worked as both a consultant and a contractor.
