A Senior Product Designer in sports at GMG in Unit GS, 075, Financial Center Rd, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, UAE plays a vital role in shaping the design strategy and driving the overall user experience and user interface for their customers across various ecommerce platforms, including desktop web, mobile web & native mobile apps as well as omnichannel project such as in store digital experience The role is highly focused on driving ecommerce efficiency by developing or revamping entirely their UX/UI experience on their ecommerce platforms. You will play a critical role in driving innovation, setting design standards & ensuring that their brands deliver top-notch user experiences & interfaces that keep their customers engaged and delighted. The Senior Product Designer will inspire and provide direction for their brands ensuring delivery of best-in-class design and delivery of MarTech strategies. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Product Designer

• UX/UI Roadmap: Create & develop the UI/UI roadmap for one of GMG sports division online ecommerce platform.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather customer feedback to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
• Develop user personas, customer journey maps, and other design artifacts to guide the team in creating intuitive and engaging digital experience.
• Creative Direction: Oversee the full P&L of the ecommerce brands, monitor financial performance, and take proactive measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and profitability improvement.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses accurately.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product team to develop effective User experiences that drives conversion.
• Work closely with technology and IT teams to optimize the ecommerce platforms, enhance user experience, and ensure seamless integration with other system.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather insights, measure performance, and track key metrics, such as conversion rates, average order value, customer lifetime value, and customer acquisition cost.
• Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into ecommerce performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• People Management: Mentor a Junior UI UX designer Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging professional development and growth opportunities for team members.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance the team’s skills and expertise.

Requirements for Role of Senior Product Designer

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in designing user interfaces and interactions, preferably in consumer focused tech or product companies.
• Demonstrated experience in creating flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual communication to effectively convey design concepts.
• Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams, including Product, Engineering, and Commercial departments.
• A portfolio of work showcasing user-centered design solutions and demonstrating depth of experience.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• The ability to comprehend complex business problems & establish a design vision for the product in the short, medium & long term.
• Proficiency in applying best practices for mobile and web design. As well as a solid understanding of usability principles and techniques.
• A proven ability to drive the design review cycle and independently fulfill design requirements.
• Software knowledge: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision Studio, Axure, XD, etc.
• Strong technical knowledge (SFCC, Magento, React, and Native mobile OS.
• Strong presentational skills (Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Speaks Arabic and English language.
