Senior Procurement Engineer DMCC Dubai

The Senior Procurement Executive role would closely support the Senior Procurement Engineer in Uptown Tower Uptown Dubai PO Box 48800. Dubai, UAE. To support and assist in the procurement function of the C&P dept and including but not limited to specifically all Property projects with a special focus on the upcoming continuous development of Uptown Dubai District. Assisting and managing the procurement of all the upcoming packages. The position is to also help enhance the procurement standards and its applications, procurement support internally to the Procurement team and preparation for third party negotiations. Analyze pricing trends to help support decision making. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Procurement Engineer

• Ensuring would be suppliers are registered correctly on the DMCC e- procurement system once Expression of interests are received as well as executed NDA’s where required.
• Sourcing the market and setting up prequalification process using e-procurement system and issuing and evaluating a project specific prequalification and drafting and securing all approvals to proceed with the final bidder list.
• Administration and monitoring of Supplier input to e-tendering platform and supplier portal and ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Support Senior Procurement Manager with tender commercial analysis.
• Develop and maintain a project cost analysis to support the department’s decision making process.
• Supporting Senior Procurement Manager on project initiatives including the implementation of the new Procurement Policies & Procedures, Systems and Applications.

Requirements for Role of Senior Procurement Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• At least 3 years’ work experience, need not be necessarily within procurement.
• UAE National.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Knowledge of Procurement Management, Contracts & Tendering is preferred.
• Computer skills: Good understanding and use of IT systems.
