Senior Officer in Airport Control Centre at Flydubai in ENI Sapphire Tower Office number 6, Al Ittihad Road. Port Saeed, Deira Dubai, UAE will  oversee all aspects of airport control center operations and manage flight control and load control working closely with ‘Network Control Centre’ (NCC) Duty Manager to make decisions that deliver the best possible outcomes for their customers and operations thus ensuring smooth operation in hubs and outstation hubs and teams. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-20000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Officer

• Establishes an effective communication protocol to ensure that decisions are taken efficiently at all network stations.
• Takes immediate action in coordination with ‘Network Control Centre’(NCC) and Hub Duty Manager to rectify issues relating to irregular operations including executing Hub protection plan and critical activation of ‘Ground Handling Agent’ (GHA) service suppliers.
• Investigates Airport services delays in outstations and any breaches of supplier ‘Service Level Agreement’ (SLA) so that corrective action can be implemented.
• Coordinates with management on ongoing action plan for service improvements; adapt all possible methods to achieve/exceed the set-up targets.
• Oversees the flight schedules and monitor turnaround activity from a ground service perspective.
• Manages the recovery of passengers and baggage disruption and ensures communication with Airport Operation on the action taken as per the Flight Disruption Handling Procedure Manual.
• Guides the Airport Control Centre team when dealing with all operational issues or difficulties, to resolve difficulties and be proactive to reduce issues and associated costs.
• Communicates with the relevant areas at airport and providing up to date information on critical elements of the flight. And oversee the flight schedules and monitor turnaround activity from a ground service perspective.
• Communicates with ‘Emirates Hub Control Centre’ (EK HCC) for all connecting passengers’ issues or challenges to ensure smooth passenger’s transfer.
• Reviews ‘On Time Performance’ (OTP) data and record daily operational statistic come up corrective actions to reduce delays.

Requirements for Role of Senior Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years) in aviation management, air traffic management, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years experience in airport operations, particularly in passenger services, baggage services, ground handling operations, dangerous goods regulations, and ramp handling.
