Senior Manager Operational Audit DAMAC Group UAE

DAMAC Group is seeking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Senior Manager Operational Audit in DAMAC Executive Heights, TECOM, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, PO Box 2195 Dubai, UAE. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-35000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Manager Operational Audit

• Support the Head of Internal Audit and Reporting Manager to develop and execute a risk-based audit plan covering all aspects of real estate projects and the customer lifecycle.
• Measure performance against set targets for the internal audit function.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and senior operational management to stay informed about business activities and objectives.
• Oversee, coordinate, and provide input for audits conducted by in-house staff or co-sourced partners.
• Develop audit scope, work programs, and testing plans.
• Identify audit automation areas after each audit and collaborate internally with the Director of IT Audits for the implementation of suggested automations and continuous control monitoring systems.
• Prepare clear and detailed audit reports for communication of findings to appropriate management levels.
• Assist in the preparation of clear and concise communication of audit processes and findings for senior management and the risk committee.
• People Management Closely monitor and ensure the achievement of defined goals and KPIs for internal audit staff and manage their performance.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to develop team capabilities.
• Ensure team possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to complete audit assignments.
• Support in developing and implementing training programs for internal audit staff.

Requirements for Role of Senior Manager Operational Audit

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, or CISA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 to 8 years of experience in real estate auditing and will ensure appropriate audit coverage while maintaining high professional standards as outlined by the Internal Audit Charter and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Civil or mechanical engineering background is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of real estate construction projects and customer lifecycles.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
