Purpose of A Senior Manager IT Infrastructure

To oversee and strategically manage the IT infrastructure of an organization, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with business objectives.

Duties of A Senior Manager IT Infrastructure

• Lead the collaboration with concerned stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, and align IT infrastructure.
• Plan and establish priorities for maintenance, design, development and analysis of HCT’s infrastructure components including, but not limited to, LANs, WANs, internet, wireless, systems and database.
• Oversee the planning, designing and execution of infrastructure testing efforts.
• Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of existing infrastructure services and identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the process of providing level 2 and level 3 support to end-users and resolving incidents related to IT infrastructure services.
• Monitor the development and maintenance of an up-to-date and comprehensive log on infrastructure incidents and resolutions.
• Maintain appropriate all servers and network Infrastructure in alignment with IT security policies, procedures and processes.
• Manage the performance monitoring and capacity planning of HCT infrastructure components and provide regular performance and capacity status reports.
• Manage the organization and storage of data, security and confidentiality of data, and evaluate data systems’ performance for improvement.
• Design, plan and implement an enterprise wide disaster recovery plan to ensure uninterrupted business operations and avoid loss of sensitive data.
• Devise, schedule and implement disaster recovery tests and lead the analysis of results and identification of areas for improvement.
• Monitor adherence to SLAs with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Relevant certifications are preferable.
• 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role.

Knowledge & Skills Desired

• Proficient level English fluency. Arabic is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of managing the following:
• Data Center Infrastructure.
• Servers, storages and network infrastructure.
• Cloud services platforms.
• Backup and restorations.
• Internal and external audits.
• Project management.
• Public cloud using Azure and AWS.
• PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Patch management solutions like satellite.
