Job Description
Senior Manager at GMG will spearhead the strategic nationalization program, with a technical and analytical approach towards Emiratization policies and government relations. This includes, developing and executing a nationalization strategy using data analytics. Creating and updating Emiratization policies to comply with UAE and in particular Emiratization initiatives. Managing government relations and ensuring adherence to legal requirements and implementation of an SLA framework. Providing technical insights for HR programs like compensation and recruitment. Implementing and reporting on strategic plans, metrics and KPIs covering Emiratization initiatives and government relations operations. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-40000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Senior Manager
- Lead the talent acquisition strategy for Emiratization, focusing on the attraction, development, and retention of UAE National talent.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand workforce needs and translate them into actionable recruitment plans.
- Build strong relationships with universities, governmental bodies, and professional networks to source top Emirati talent.
- Develop and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Utilize data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and continuously improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations related to Emiratization policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the recruitment team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Implement employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice for UAE Nationals.
- Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics, candidate pipeline and hiring progress to senior management.
Requirements for Role of Senior Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Solid experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on Emiratization programs.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful localization recruitment strategies.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- At least 10 years of human resources experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing Emiratization and Goverment Relations.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Strong understanding of UAE labour laws and Emiratization regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making and demonstrate ROI.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus.
