Senior Manager Digital & Marketplace EMC Adidas Dubai

The purpose of Senior Manager Digital & Marketplace EMC at Adidas in Building 2, Dubai Design District, Dubai, UAE is to accelerate Digital Sales opportunities across the EMC region. This includes, but is not limited to the Middle East, North Africa and Export regions. Through leadership and strategic foresight candidate will identify and bring these growth opportunities to life by integrating and managing key marketplace opportunities, elevating their digital partner experiences and driving their own ecommerce (DBC) growth. Candidate will work in an agile, fast paced, global organization and in close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Manager Digital & Marketplace

  • Manage and lead the DPC Digital & Marketplace team in the EMC region.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities in line with the broader Digital and EMC strategy.
  • Make recommendations to the Snr Director DPC & DBC on marketplace opportunities with new partners based on factual analysis, trends and needs while monitoring and reporting on competitors’ activities in the market.
  • Own key commercial and digital KPI’s related to new market/partner opportunities and initiatives.
  • Accelerate Digital Partner Development by setting the strategy for Global/EM Partner Digital Initiatives applicable to EMC and implement at targeted accounts.
  • Act as key link to Global/EM to implement local/market relevant solutions where required.
  • Accelerate Local Marketplace model execution by identifying opportunities and ensuring technical and commercial foundations are built with key partners.
  • Responsible for forecasting and tracking of Net Sales targets based on roll out plans.
  • Ensure marketplace model is run and managed successfully across operations, finance, SCM, Brand (product) and Tech to achieve NS targets.
  • Lead/support EMC partner discussions on Global Partner Program model, including – but not limited to tech readiness, commercial alignment and project timelines.
  • Lead EMC requirements into EMC HUB, securing priority in future roll-outs and capabilities.
  • Ensure all new projects are execute within the given time frames and in line with key Commercial and Brand targets.
  • Support management and driving of adidas EMC eCommerce platform with EM eCommerce team to ensure all technical, operational and commercial SLA’s and KPI’s are achieve.

Requirements for Role of Senior Manager Digital & Marketplace

  • University Degree subject or relevant to industry experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience, with extensive experience in E-Commerce field (e.g. Pureplayers, emarketplaces, Digital merchandising, Digital consumer experience and/or Digital Marketing)
  • Proven sales experience ideally within the sport / retail sector.
  • Experience managing a team.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Very good project management skills, ability to understand and implement strategy, including the ability to lead diverse teams of technical and non-technical roles and several projects simultaneously.
  • In depth understanding of local markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs.
  • Very good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to senior stakeholders and convincing them to follow path of action.
  • Innovative mindset, encouraging change, taking personal ownership and can-do attitude
  • Fluent English, both verbally and written.
  • Knowledge of local and global E-Commerce landscape.
