Responsibilities of Senior Investment Advisor

Investment Products revenue growth and penetration increase

Drive initiatives to increase investment revenues and penetration in priority banking customers.
Manage and meet customers and develop investment proposals for large customers through profiling and model portfolios.

Training of RMs and on job coaching of Investment Advisor

Train all the RMs on investment and Takaful products.
On the job coaching of RMs for investments and Takaful products.

Compliance and Prevention of Miss selling

Ensure compliance to mentioned polices during investment and Takaful sales process and ensure minimal miss selling.
Training of RMs on compliance and risks.
Ensure monitoring when required.

Product and platform development

Work closely with product team and various other stake holders to ensure smooth delivery of investment products.
Provide feedback to enhance platform through launch of profiling tools and build up on investment product list and plan.

Requirements of Senior Investment Advisor

Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Masters in Finance / MBA.
CFA certification.
CISI Certification / Other Certifications.
10+ years of similar experience in other banks or wealth management institutions.
Experience as wealth manager for at least 3 years.
Experience in investment product management of at least 3 years.
Experience across a wide range of Banking areas, e.g. Retail, wealth management, SME.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

Strong business judgment and problem solving and analytical abilities, particularly in financial analysis.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of various investment products and current market perspectives.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of investment sales and advisory process.
Understanding of portfolio management approaches in Investment management.
Ability to multi task and work under pressure; flexibility with last-minutes challenges/changes.
Excellent skills to influence in direct reports to achieve desired outcomes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Ability to work comfortably with different cultures, backgrounds and skills.
Must be bi lingual, Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Arabic.
