Job Description
Mohamed Hilal Group is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead their design projects from inception to completion while fostering a collaborative environment for their team. This is a Senior level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 15000-25000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.
Responsibilities of Senior Interior Designer
- Project Management:
- Oversee interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to meet project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of interior designers and support staff.
- Assign tasks, review design concepts, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and project quality.
- Design Development:
- Lead the development of creative design concepts, layouts, and presentations that align with client specifications and functional needs.
- Ensure that designs meet aesthetic goals while adhering to practical requirements.
- Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design proposals and addressing any concerns.
- Build strong relationships with clients to secure repeat business and referrals, fostering a lasting partnership.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs to ensure profitability.
- Source and manage vendors, materials, and resources for cost-effective, high-quality results.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity, quality standards, and compliance.
- Resolve design-related challenges that arise during the construction and implementation phases.
- Market Trends & Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies, and incorporate them into design solutions.
- Advocate for sustainable and eco-friendly practices, integrating them into design projects whenever possible.
Requirements for Role of Senior Interior Designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in interior design and project management, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Demonstrated expertise in the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of design principles, construction processes, and project management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- A passion for staying current with industry trends and sustainable design practices.
