Senior HVAC Technician Marine Johnson Controls Dubai

The Senior HVAC Technician in Marine at Johnson Controls in Block D, 3rd Floor, Office Park Building #56, Dubai, UAE is a key role reporting directly to the Service Manager and will be based in Dubai.  The Marine Service team carry out design, commissioning, inspection and troubleshooting of very complex systems under time constraints and in accordance with defined processes, service agreements, and customer needs. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-10000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior HVAC Technician

• Will be using your technical understanding of refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, controls, and other relevant topics in the maritime and offshore HVAC sector to provide technical support to both technicians and customers throughout a larger geographic area.
• Will be on focused on designing, commissioning, inspection, and troubleshooting of very complex systems under time constraints and in accordance with defined processes, service agreements, and customer needs.
• Be primary contact for all the technical installation and/or servicing issues on-site.
• Will be responsible to support clients for complex requests and calls as they are received.
• Develop excellent customer relationships along with providing proactive feedback and documentation on the status of the customer’s equipment and systems.
• Work done and will lead project while on-site, mentoring less-experienced members of the service team technically and organizing on-site work activities for complex, multi-person tasks.
• Shall involve supervising the assigned tasks of subcontractors.
• Accountable for the diagnosis and repair of system problems, which necessitates specific technical expertise, required certifications. And an understanding of time and material constraints.
• Provide customers and operational management with high-level technical support and guidance. When necessary, seek clarifications and technical assistance from the relevant engineering team, which helps to fix the issues that arise.
• Make sure that the Installation, start-up, and commission systems in compliance with established guidelines, procedures, and standards.
• Analyze relevant technical documentation such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams. And so on, and provides training, mentoring, coaching, and development to less experienced technicians.
• Accountable for advising customer of the type of service rendered, and any unresolved problems, suggests upgrades, replacements, or enhancements to the system. And encourages the sale of change orders or further labor and material work (L&M) and provide any trainings on system functioning.
• Concisely document everything that was done and submit the service reports promptly.

Requirements for Role of Senior HVAC Technician

• Relevant qualifications in the specific trade of HVAC & Refrigeration
• Minimum 10 years of experience in overhauling of reciprocating & screw compressors and troubleshooting/installation/commissioning of relay based and PLC based control panels for HVAC systems.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Subject matter expert knowledge on complex products and advanced systems, including knowledge of 3d party systems/system integration.
• Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
• Provides solutions to others on very complex system problems by either troubleshooting or advising how to resolve problems.
• Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner.
• Candidate should be fluent in English speaking &Writing.
