Purpose of Senior Financial Auditor

Support EY Dubai Audit team and help the clients meet their requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Incumbent will use their professional skills and experience to handle complex audit procedures across a broad range of industries and responsibilities.

Responsibilities of Senior Financial Auditor

• Make a technical contribution to audit engagements and internal projects.
• Actively establish internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY on existing engagements.
• With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, escalate issues as appropriate.
• Confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Education & Experience For Senior Financial Auditor

• Strong academic record, including a degree or professional qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, CA.
• At least four years of professional experience in external audit.
• Track record with a leading international audit firm.

Knowledge & Skills

• Pro- activity, accountability and results- driven.
• Dealing with competing priorities, understanding how to manage resources and communicating effectively.
• Proficiency in the Arabic language is advantageous.
