Responsibilities of Senior FCC Surveillance Officer

  • Apply in depth AML compliance knowledge to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize AML systems (SAS, SAP, Fircosoft) for monitoring and analyzing financial transactions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MIS skills for creating insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Leverage analytical skills to identify and address gaps in systems and procedures.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Office knowledge to semi-automate workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Develop Macros for automating workflows and data collation in Microsoft applications.
  • Employ DAX and SQL for liaising with IT, contributing to technology enhancements.
  • Collaborate with management to create or enhance systems, increasing team efficiency.
  • Utilize advanced PowerBi and PowerPoint skills for creating management data visualizations.
  • Generate daily team performance dashboards, monitor KPIs, and track progress.
  • Audit and reconcile internal trackers to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Allocate work based on structure, strategy, and capacity planning.
  • Manage vendor and employee MIS, including cost tracking, leave management, and timesheets.
  • Identify gaps and challenges within systems and procedures, suggesting solutions for improvement.
  • Implement process improvements using internal resources and applications, emphasizing semi-automations.
  • Provide support with MIS and automation across Compliance departments (Transaction Monitoring, Client Acceptance, Name Screening).
  • Enforce data governance for internal team data, streamlining information within the team.

Requirements of Senior FCC Surveillance Officer

  • Bachelor’s Degree from recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience preferable banking experience.
  • Proven experience in AML compliance with knowledge of industry regulations.
  • Experience in creating semi-automated workflows for increased efficiency.
  • Prior experience in vendor and employee MIS management.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Proficiency in AML systems such as SAS, SAP, Fircosoft.
  • Strong MIS skills, including data visualization, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Macros, DAX, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with PowerBi and PowerPoint for management data presentations.
