ADNOC is actively hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for job role of a Senior Engineer, Rotating Equipment Maintenance in Abu Dhabi. The Role is required to manage all Mechanical (rotating and static equipment) PMs, Overhauls, S/D activities in the plant  and provide expert engineering technical support to ensure equipment availability,  reliability and integrity in line with best world class practise and standards either technically or safely. Moreover engineering support during all project phases (Principle, FEED, EPC, FAT/SAT, Pre-commissioning / commissioning).

Job Duties of Senior Engineer

• Provides support in developing and focusing strategic direction, planning, co-ordination, guidance, reviewing and close follow-up of key issues.
• Contribute towards achieving HSE, Maintenance, Production of Oil & Gas and Injection in line with Asset’s KPl’s targets.
• Undertakes duties closely related to planning/scheduling of short, medium and long-term activities.
• Participates with the VP Operations in the planning, coordination and recommendation of long- and short-term maintenance programs.
• Develop and maintain codes of practice, Mechanical Maintenance, procedures and guidelines in compliance with corporate and ADNOC polices and standards.
• Review the existing maintenance practices and support the implementation of innovative & modern techniques in order to achieve the best productivity, availability & reliability.
• Plan and supervise the execution of major overhauls and extraordinary maintenance programs in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Arrange for long term and short-term maintenance plans and coordinate major overhauls and shutdowns of the assigned equipment.
• Support, Advice and Resolve any Critical breakdown of Mechanical Equipment tin his filed/Area.
• Propose/Develop /Review/Approve any plant change request by conducting site engineering studies to ensure the feasibility and safety of the plant.
• Provide professional expertise in technological up-gradation of obsolete equipment and prepare the relevant technical and economical document.
• Provide expert advice for all maintenance and operations issues related to rotating equipment.
• Ensure that all mechanical critical safety systems (such as PSVs,.etc) are maintained and operative by developing  adequate testing procedures and follow up testing programs.

What You Will Do More

• Provides assistance to site for shutdowns and release of facilities for various activities/projects in coordination with relevant teams, Maintenance and other Divisions.
• Participates in Root Cause Failure Analysis teams .
• Investigate issues due to equipment failure and determines the root cause.
• Associate with the performance of equipment and implements improvement plans.
• Ensures that the predictive, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities and progress are maintained in the system.
• Ensures that the Maintenance interest is fully covered and resources are properly allocated in all aspects of the relevant project life cycle from conceptual to completion, with full co-ordination/involvement of the respective Asset Unit teams/members.
• To contribute to the development and direct the Implementation of the Asset Integrity and Reliability Management System.
• To assist in the preparation of the budget for the Division and to effectively cooperate with other Divisions to ensure that sufficient infrastructure and competent human resources are provided.
• Optimize business processes are in place to fulfil the objectives for the Division in an effective and cost conscious manner.
• Participates in preparation of annual and long term (5-year) Capital and Operating budgets in conjunction with both the Sulphur Plant Operations Manager and the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
• Reconciles capital and operating expenditure against planned budget for maintenance activities and equipment.
• Investigate and address any variances to ensure effective cost control.
• Identify areas of cost reduction.
• Ensures optimization and effective utilization of resources and active involvement in the continuous improvement process of maintenance, operations, procedures management.

The eligibility requirements for the role of Senior Engineer are as under.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Discipline.

Experience 

• 8 to 12 years of experience.
