Duties Of Senior Engineer Petroleum

• Plan and prepare rigless operations execution schedule based on drilling and Reservoir Management Plan schedules.
• Prepare programs for rigless operations, perforations, kick-off operation, stimulation and well testing to be carried out by service companies.
• Prepare programs for various well tests such as multi-rate production/injections tests and isochronal/modified isochronal tests, coordinate, and supervise testing operations and carry out preliminary interpretation and evaluation of test results.
• Prepare and distribute regulatory documents, requests in advance (flare request etc.)
• Provide technical support to all operations and trouble shooting.
• Attends site jobs and support when needed.
• Identify opportunities for production optimization in the production system.
•  Finalize Well Testing Strategy, Monitor and Evaluate the testing results (Artificial Engineers’ part).
• Monitor Rigless Activities, communicate concerns to rigless and provide technical support for smooth running of operations.
• Create and maintain database for wells covering all operational job details, data acquired, well tests, pressure history and optimization work performed.
• Ensure the agreed plan for the wells is being followed and highlight any deviations required.
• Recommend and plans special tests or test runs of projects prior to recommending field wide or reservoir implementation.
• Undertake studies to evaluate available alternatives and defines design parameters for upgrading / debottlenecking existing facilities/ enhance capacity and meet set targets.
• Coordinate the investigation of problems related to production technology and recommend appropriate solutions. Includes the use of new equipment, logging/ testing/ production techniques, studies.
• Review application of new technology in areas related to production, injection and artificial lifts. Includes directing and participating in feasibility studies to recommend adoption of new techniques and equipment.

Eligibility Requirements For Senior Engineer Petroleum

The eligibility requirements for the role of Senior Engineer Petroleum are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum/Chemical Engineering or Equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in all aspects of Petroleum Engineering Operations.

Skills & Knowledge Desired
