Responsibilities Of Senior Engineer Digital Oil Field

• Liaise and follow-up with ADNOC Offshore all upstream Real-Time related solution issues / requirement.
• Identify required corrective actions in coordination and alignment with ADNOC Headquarters.
• Provides specialized technical support in managing, developing, monitoring and delivering complete solution, covering company-wide real-time data domain scope in coordination and alignment with ADNOC Headquarters.
• Keep updated on the latest technologies, benchmarks and looks for solutions and opportunities that better serve the company from the DOF real time data perspective.
• Preparing and maintaining and strategic projects scope of work.
• Assist in preparing the Business Case for new project.
• Preparing models, POCs and pilots to minimize risk and explore options easily.
• Coordination of strategic projects, and managing the implementation.
• Assessing, selecting and implementing new technologies such as Big Data throughout the project stages.
• Coordinate and support the delivery and implementation of DOF from assessment to delivery.

What You Will Do More

• Managing large and complex projects observing Company Standards, Methodologies, Processes and Tools, delivering in compliance with on-standard and quality.
• Identification of new improvement areas and opportunities, planning the necessary assessments and building up evolution drafts and addressing new proposals.
• Preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required.
• Adopting and applying appropriate technical tools in line with ADNOC Offshore quality and standards.
• Advice stakeholders on the potential of utilizing Digital Oilfields technologies to address and improve the business.
• Works with different disciplines (Reservoirs, production, maintenance team etc.), in the development and support for high-level applications platform for reservoir optimization and well surveillance monitoring supports the tendering and implementation process.
• Promotes the vision of the Digital Oilfield as an approach to improve reservoir recovery, safe and efficient operation in the Company.
• Work closely with various company leaders and subject matter experts to consolidate technical solutions portfolio, plan, implement and execute tasks leading DOF solutions.
• Manage the evolution of solutions by conducting feasibility studies from ideas concepts to full implementations to improve the company core business.
• Conducts risk assessment / risk management throughout the project life-cycle.
• Responds to internal/external changes and highlights their impact on ADNOC Offshore business processes.
• Frequent contact with contractors, vendors.

Eligibility Requirements

The minimum requirements for the role Senior Engineer Digital Oil Field are as under:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or other technical disciplines with long exposure to Information Technology applications in Oil & Gas Engineering, Drilling Geology and Production.
• 8 – 9 years of experience in similar role with a multinational company.
• Preferably, from the Oil & Gas sector.
• Business Process Management certificates is an advantage.
• Project Management Certificate is an advantage (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).

Desired Skills & Knowledge

• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to develop, innovate and think beyond the boundaries.
• Good knowledge of various aspects of Reservoir Monitoring, Petroleum Engineering, Projects, Operations & Business Planning Strategy & Integrity Management.
• Broad experience in IT-OT solution implementation for large scale projects.
• Having deep knowledge and hands-on experience in data visualization and analytical tools.
• Having deep knowledge in integration upstream applications/business in order to allowed to proposed enhancement or new solutions.
• Has detailed knowledge in project management covering: requirements documentation, resource selection, planning techniques, change control process, tracking variance, cost and control schedule systems, project reporting and documenting.
• Proficient in English.
