Senior Director Emerging Markets at Johnson Controls in Block D, 3rd Floor, Office Park Building #56, Dubai, UAE is responsibility for the direct and indirect channel in the Emerging Markets across the Middle East, India and Mediterranean regions, reporting directly to the Vice President, International Region. Candidates’ primary focus will be to increase their market share and profitability in the region across both the Intrusion and ACVS portfolio, driving expansion and growth in challenging markets with a metro market strategy and leading a significant employee team. Focus is achieving the strategic & financial objectives set out their commercial strategic plan, with an emphasis on achieving profitable growth and margin expansion by deploying the appropriate go to market approach for each line of business; creating organizational capability with the commercial, operations and support functions across the region. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 30000-70000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Director Emerging Markets

  • Will build organizational capacity fostering sales and operational excellence, empowering and enabling the individual teams to drive performance and accountability.
  • With your extensive knowledge of a contracting focused business in the region you will leverage their peer. And partner networks to improve their market penetration, supporting the teams to bring on new accounts and increasing opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Will provide critical leadership helping to define the strategy whilst having ownership for driving profitable volume growth. Working closely with other channel and product leaders across the organization to identify. And close local market gaps and jointly manage the commercial integration of their legacy businesses.
  • An entrepreneurial leader, commercially astute and technically proficient in building teams across the security products sector.
  • Progressive responsibility for sales and operational management in a multi-faceted business.

Requirements for Role of Senior Director Emerging Markets

  • A master’s degree in business administration (MBA), finance, economics, international business, or a related field.
  • Recent experience of working at a leadership level in the Middle East, India and Mediterranean region.
  • 10 years minimum experience leading a team of senior managers or 2nd tier leadership experience.
  • Experience of overseeing multiple functions, especially sales & operations.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Demonstrable track record of success in the region.
  • Knowledge of commercializing a product ability to design go-to-market strategies with brand positioning, etc.
  • Technically proficient in the Security Product industry.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across business areas to gain trust.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, across all levels record of delivering business growth within a systems & service business.
  • Commercially astute with knowledge of contractual agreement within a sales environment focusing on contractors, end users and environments.
  • Leader led change agent.
