Job Description

As a Senior Cybersecurity Technical Engineer OT at Emirates Airlines, candidate will be expected to build, manage and operate security technologies in compliance to corporate policy and standards. Additionally, will ensure security designs meet business requirements and address risks. As a senior engineer, candidates are experienced in Operational Technologies and Industrial Control Systems and will use these skills to benefit the business. Also primary responsibility is to plan and lead the execution of risk assessments, compliance reviews, vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for IoT and Operational Technologies (collectively referred to as products). Additionally, and will also support continuous review and compliance with internal policies and standards.

Responsibilities of Cybersecurity Technical Engineer OT

Lead the discovery projects and build high level designs to accomplish business needs while prioritizing cyber risk reduction.
Manage the cybersecurity technology lifecycle from conception to service operation.
Make design decisions aligning to security principles. Coordinate with internal teams to build support for design decisions and favourable risk reduction outcomes.
Build technical documentation for cybersecurity technology designs, operations and support the creation of associated security technology standards.
Facilitate the ongoing review of cybersecurity technology designs and alignment to industry best practices.
Support the diagnosis and resolution of cybersecurity technology issues as a subject matter expert.

Requirements for Role of Cybersecurity Technical Engineer OT

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Network Technologies Certifications such as CCIE Security, JNCIP-SEC, PCNSE and CCSP .
5+ Years experience in Information Technology, Networking and Cybersecurity.
Experience with security audits and assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

Knowledge and skills in IoT and OT CyberSecurity and ICS
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for OT/IoT such as NIST CSF, IEC/ISA 62443, DESC ICS and NESA.
Knowledge of embedded systems and how they operate in OT/IIoT environments.
Knowledge on identity and access management (IAM) and zero trust concepts for OT/IIoT environments.
Knowledge of network segmentation and understanding of micro-segmentation techniques for OT/IoT
A deep understanding of networking protocols such as but not limited to TCP/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, BACnet, MQTT and OPC UA and how they operate in OT/IoT environments highly desirable.
Have strong technical skills to work with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions, is essential.
