A Senior Bio Medical Engineer at Dubai Health will ensure that all new and existing medical equipment that have service contracts are attended by tie respective vendors. Responsibilities of Senior Bio Medical Engineer

• Develop of a risk management system for medical devices and educate the staff who are handling those devises.
• Produce and monitor training plans in medical devices for Medical, Nursing and Paramedical staff as and when required,
• Update the knowledge of regulatory standards & technological advancements with regard to functioning & handling of Biomedical Equipment.
• Prepare work plans outlining estimated manpower requirements for the periodic preventive maintenance schedule.
• Provide their respective site 24-hour Biomedical Engineering services to comply with accreditation requirements.
• Maintain assigned equipment according to the manufacturer recommendations,
• Prepare checklists and carrying out the preventive maintenance & calibration of the equipment on due date in coordination with end-users and suppliers.
• Ensure all recommended spare parts, maintenance kits, special tools and test equipment are ordered by Head of unit.
• Repair the assigned or given equipment within minimum down time by ordering necessary equipment from Biomedical store for getting spare parts.
• Improve the technical skills by attending lectures, exhibitions, conferences or surfing web sites. Maintain professional growth through training on new or unknown systems and/or hardware.
• Any other activities as assigned by the direct supervisor time to time.

 Qualifications & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Senior Bio Medical Engineer at Dubai Academic Health Corporation:

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio Medical engineering.
• 7 years Of experience in Biomedical engineering area.
