Job Description

DAMAC Group presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Senior Architect BIM Manager. This is a Senior level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 15000-35000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities of Senior Architect BIM Manager

  • BIM Execution Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive BIM execution plans in accordance with project requirements, standards, and protocols. This includes defining BIM goals, roles, responsibilities, and workflows for the project team.
  • Concept to Detailed Design: Lead the development of BIM models from the conceptual phase through to detailed design and construction documentation. Ensure that BIM models accurately reflect design intent and technical requirements.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (including engineers, contractors, and consultants) to ensure seamless coordination and integration of BIM into the project workflow.
  • Model Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of 3D BIM models, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM standards and protocols.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior architects and team members on BIM best practices, software tools, and workflows. Foster a collaborative learning environment within the team.
  • Design Documentation & Deliverables: Lead the production of detailed architectural drawings, schedules, and documentation through BIM. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Requirements for Role of Senior Architect BIM Manager

  • Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum of 8 years of architectural design experience, with a significant portion of that time focused on BIM implementation and execution in architecture projects.
  • Proven experience using BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Experience in delivering projects across various stages (Concept, Schematic, Design Development, and Construction Documentation), with a strong focus on utilizing BIM throughout these phases.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong knowledge of BIM workflows from concept design through to detailed construction documentation.
  • Familiarity with international BIM standards and protocols.
  • Exposure to the construction phase of projects. And knowledge of construction processes and coordination using BIM.
