Abu Dhabi Ports presently has a job opening for eligible candidate as Senior Accountant Noatum Logistics who will be responsible to act as the key support to the Business units’ Management to actively manage the revenue function and support Cluster Director Finance in the decision matters to revenue reporting and planning.
Duties of Senior Accountant Noatum Logistics
- Responsible to manage the revenue functions to build an effective and efficient process in all business units and ensure that discounts, special tariffs and credit notes are recorded and approved as per AD Ports Group DOA.
- Develop and maintain revenue assurance process, evaluate and update revenue polices and procedure.
- Promote billing recommendation plans and lead system upgrade and implementation of IT solutions preventing any possible revenue leakage.
- Collaborate the Commercial team to accurately update customer’s contact in CRM system and any other system, effectively resolve billing issues, and efficiently maintain credit limits allocation.
What You’ll Do More As a Senior Accountant
- Supervise revenue monthly closing tasks and review Cluster Finance Director forecast plans for the month end revenue.
- Review and approve various revenue reports, budgets and forecasts and manage the timeline with business units.
- Provide guidance to all Business Units for Revenue and billing related matters.
- Provide necessary support to collection function and help revenue function to escalate any issue to the management if necessary.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors relating to revenue or billing and drive timely completion of audits observations.
- Supervise the monthly closing deadlines for invoicing and revenue accruals when are service provided but not billed.
Eligibility Requirements for Role of Senior Accountant Noatum Logistics
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.
- Chartered accountancy qualification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA is a plus.
- Experience in financial accounting and/or financial reporting
- Experience in data analysis, forecasting methods and reporting packages.
- 8-10 years’ of professional accounting and/or financial reporting experience.
